Kristina Yee joined Mason & Martin in 2005; she manages the firm’s real estate department concentrating her broad practice on residential and commercial real estate transactions. She has considerable experience representing buyers, sellers, investors, and developers in the acquisition, sale, development, and financing of residential and commercial real estate, including condominium conversions. Kristina is an approved closing attorney for some of the largest lending institutions and mortgage brokers, locally and nationwide.
Kristina’s practice also includes representation of private lender clients, advising them on regulatory compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, including The Truth in Lending Act, Regulation Z, and the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule, and further assists those clients with their underwriting and collections processes. Kristina has significant experience closing REO (lender real estate owned) transactions and has extensive knowledge of the mortgage foreclosure regulations and process in Massachusetts.
Kristina obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University here in the Boston area and her Juris Doctorate from American University's Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. She is a member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association.
Kristina lives in Chestnut Hill (Brookline) with her two sons, Zachary and Alexander. She is actively engaged in the community and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Brookline Center for Community Mental Health and also serves as the Chair of the Strategic Development Committee at the Center. Outside of the office, Kristina enjoys traveling the world, sharing great food with family and friends, staying physically fit in a myriad of ways including competing in adventure races.
